About The Animation

A simple Java based image scroller or image tape. Total size of the animation (Java applet and image) is 7,037 bytes. See it in use on the Canadian Space Guide.

Downloading and Installing

Follow these simple steps: download the module and uncompress it, install it in your directory, then install the HTML text in your site. Please also read the Terms and Conditions.

1. Download and Uncompress:

You can download this animation by choosing one of the following 3 formats: UNIX Compress, ZIP and StuffIt. Each archive contains this file, a README file and the applet and image files.

2. Install the Module:

When you uncompress the archive you will find the Java class file called uczspac1.class and the image file. These files can be located anywhere on your site relative to the HTML file where you want the animation to appear. However, it is best and easiest to install the files in the same directory as the HTML file (as we have done with this page).

3. Add HTML Text:

To include the animation in your page add the following HTML:

Any text that appears in this part will only be displayed by a non-Java capable
browser. Refer to the source of this page to see an example for what we have
put in place.

Finally, add the copyright line as detailed in the Terms and Conditions, for example:
